Η εργασία αυτή έχει ως αντικείμενο της την διερεύνηση των
επιδόσεων της Ελλάδας στην καινοτομία στο χώρο των επιχειρήσεων, έτσι
όπως αυτή διαγράφεται μέσα από το European Innovation Scoreboard 2008.
Στο πρώτο μ έ ρος αναπτύσσονται θεωρητικά ζητήματα, όπως ο ορισμός
και τα είδη της καινοτομίας, η σημασία που έχει και οι παράγοντες που
την επηρεάζουν, ενώ γίνεται και αναφορά στις ευρωπαϊκές καινοτομικές
επιδόσεις. Στο δεύτερο μέρος παρουσιάζονται τα πορίσματα της έρευνας
με χρήση δευτερογενών δεδομένων για τις ελληνικές επιδόσεις στην
καινοτομία ανά ενότητα, διάσταση και επιμέρους κριτήρια. Για την
καλύτερη κατανόηση της ελληνικής επίδοσης, τα στοιχεία για τη χώρα
μας συγκρίνονται με εκείνα που αφορούν τη Σουηδία και τη Βουλγαρία,
τη χώρα δηλαδή που είναι πρώτη σε καινοτομικές επιδόσεις για το 2008
και τη χώρα που καταλαμβάνει την τελευταία θέση αντίστοιχα. Στο τέλος
συζητώνται τα συμπεράσματα στα οποία φαίνεται πως οδηγούν τα
στατιστικά στοιχεία και γίνεται μια συνολική απόπειρα ερμηνείας τους .
Abstract
This parer deals with the greek performance in innonation according
to the European Innovation Scoreboard 2008. The first part discusses
theoretical issues concerning the definition of innovation in enterprices, its
importance and the factors that influence its performance. Then the current
performance of the European Union in innovation is presented. The second
part displays the results of the research on the greek current performance and
growth performance in innovation through the comparison with the statistic
elements concerning Sweden and Bulgaria, the countries with the best and the
worst innovation performance in E.U. for 2008 respectively. Finally, the
results of this research are discussed with an attempt to highlight and
possibly justify the strong and weak points of the greek performance.
