dc.description.abstract	Η παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει το εγχείρημα της Ευρωπαϊκής Νομισματικής Ένωσης από πλευράς διαχείρισης κινδύνων καθώς και των μελλοντικών του προοπτικών που αυτοί και η αντιμετώπιση τους συνεπάγεται . Παρακολουθούμε τη προασπάθεια της Ευρωπαϊκης Νομισματικής από την αρχή μέρχρι τα πιο πρόσφατα διαθέσιμα στοιχεία. Συγκεκριμένα εξετάζουμε τη προσπάθεια από την υπογραφή της Συνθήκης του Μάαστριχτ , τη περίοδο έναρξης και εφαρμογής από το 2000 εώς το 2016 καθώς και τη μετέπειτα περίοδο εώς και σήμερα η οποία ενσωματώνει τις εμπειρίες και τα συμπεράσματα που προέκυψαν από τις κρίσεις του εγχειρήματος κατά τη δεκαετία 2010-2020. Χωρίζουμε την ιστορική περίοδο προετοιμασίας και εφαρμογής σε 3 υποπεριόδους όπου σε κάθε μια προσπάθουμε να εντοπίσουμε τους κινδύνους οι οποίοι ανέκυψαν καθώς και τις δράσεις οι οποίες προτάθηκαν ,πόσες από αυτές εφαρμόσθηκαν και τι αποτέλεσματα είχαν. Με βάση αυτή την ανάλυση προχωρούμε στα συμεπράσματα μας. Συνολικά η ΕΝΕ αντιμετώπισε πληθώρα κινδύνων και κρίσεων ιδίως μετά το 2010 οι οποίοι δεν αντιμετωπίστηκαν αποτελεσματικά με συνέπεια να πολλοί να εξακολουθούν να υφίστανται υπονομεύνοντας σημαντικά τις όποιες προοπτικές της Ευρωπαϊκης Νομισματικής Ένωσης.	el

dc.description.abstracttranslated	In this essay we try to examine what where the prospects of an EMU before its commencement and what were the risks that it had to face. What happened during the implementation phase and what were the problems and risks faced after 20 years of EMU implementation and what are the prospects and challenges- risks that EMU has to deal with in the future. We examine the literature in three periods. The first one between the years 1990-1999.This is the period from the Maastricht Treaty endorsement to the euro currency launching which signals the commencement of the EMU. We are going to highlight the potential challenges and risks that the whole venture had to face and if this was viable enough to succeed. The second period, 2000-2016, we call it implementation period and our goal is to record what were the problems that came up on the process and what solutions had been proposed. In the last period 2017-2019, when 20 years of Eurozone have been completed, we are researching the literature from a post –mortem and prospect perspective. More precisely we examine what went wrong during these 20 years, were the measures taken to deal with problems, effective enough? What needs to be done from now on in order to ensure the optimal implementation of the EMU?	el
