| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία με θέμα ‘Η συμμετοχή των γυναικών στην Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση στην Ελλάδα και τη Νορβηγία – Συγκριτική μελέτη» στηρίχθηκε σε ελληνική και ξενόγλωσση βιβλιογραφία και διαδικτυακές πηγές. Η επισκόπηση της βιβλιογραφίας αφορά στο ιστορικό του δικαιώματος ψήφου για τις γυναίκες σε Ελλάδα και Νορβηγία, το νομοθετικό πλαίσιο που διαμορφώνει την Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση στις δύο χώρες, καθώς και τα «θετικά μέτρα» που έχουν υιοθετήσει προκειμένου να ενισχύσουν τη συμμετοχή των γυναικών στην πολιτική και έτι περαιτέρω, στην Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση.
Η μέθοδος η οποία χρησιμοποιήθηκε είναι η ανάλυση περιεχομένου, η οποία επιτρέπει στον/στην συγγραφέα να διερευνήσει και να αξιολογήσει βάσει των θεματικών που προσεγγίζονται μέσα από την εργασία, ως οι πλέον σημαντικές, όπως η μειωμένη συμμετοχή των γυναικών στην Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση.
Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι να δείξει το βαθμό συμμετοχής των γυναικών στην πρωτοβάθμια και δευτεροβάθμια Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση Ελλάδας και Νορβηγίας και πως αυτή έχει επηρεαστεί μετά από τα «θετικά μέτρα» που έχει υιοθετήσει η κάθε χώρα.
Ειδικότερα, στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μια σύντομη ιστορική αναδρομή στην πορεία κατάκτησης του δικαιώματος του εκλέγειν και του εκλέγεσθαι για τις γυναίκες στην Ελλάδα και στη Νορβηγία.
Το δεύτερο κεφάλαιο, αναφέρεται θεσμό της Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης και την παρούσα εικόνα του στις δυο χώρες.
Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο προσεγγίζονται τα μορφωτικά, οικονομικά, κοινωνικά και πολιτικά αίτια της μειωμένης συμμετοχής των γυναικών στην πολιτική.
Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται αναφορά στα «θετικά μέτρα» που έχει υιοθετήσει η κάθε χώρα, όπως είναι το μέτρο της ποσόστωσης, προκειμένου να ενθαρρυνθεί και να αυξηθεί η συμμετοχή των γυναικών στα κοινά. Παρουσιάζονται τέλος, στατιστικά στοιχεία από τις τοπικές εκλογές των δύο χωρών, τα αποτελέσματα των οποίων αξιολογούνται και συγκρίνονται. | el |

| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The present paper on "The participation of women in Local Government in Greece and Norway – Comparative study" was based on Greek and foreign literature and online resources. The review of the literature concerns the history of the right to vote for women in Greece and Norway, the legislative framework that shapes local government in both countries, as well as the "positive measures" they have adopted in order to enhance the participation of women in politics and even further, in local government.
The method used is content analysis, which allows the author to explore and evaluate based on the themes approached through the work, as the most important, such as the reduced participation of women in Local Government.
The aim of the paper is to show the degree of participation of women in the primary and secondary local government of Greece and Norway and how it has been affected after the "positive measures" adopted by each country.
In particular, the first chapter provides a brief historical retrospection of the process of winning the right to vote and stand for election for women in Greece and Norway.
The second chapter refers to the institution of Local Government and its present state in the two countries.
The third chapter addresses the educational, economic, social and political causes of the reduced participation of women in politics.
The fourth chapter refers to the 'positive measures' adopted by each country, such as the quota measure, in order to encourage and increase women's participation in politics. Finally, statistics from the local elections of the two countries are presented, the results of which are evaluated and compared. | el |
