dc.description.abstract	Ο ελληνικός Μύθος είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένος με την Τέχνη, η οποία εμπνέεται από αυτόν, αλλά και ταυτόχρονα τον παραδίδει και τον αναπλάθει σε ένα διαρκές παιχνίδι μεταβαλλόμενων μοτίβων, μορφών και εικόνων από την αρχαιότητα έως τις μέρες μας. Κατέχει σημαντική θέση και στη θεματογραφία της τέχνης του Μπαρόκ, η οποία επικρατεί από τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες του 16ου αιώνα σε όλη την Ευρώπη. Η παρούσα έρευνα αναλύει την ιδιαιτερότητα του αρχαιοελληνικού μύθου και την επιρροή που η ελληνική μυθολογία άσκησε στις εικαστικές τέχνες από την αρχαιότητα και εντεύθεν, με χρονικό ορίζοντα την εποχή Μπαρόκ. Εστιάζει στη διαχείριση του μυθολογικού υλικού και των εκάστοτε παραλλαγών του μύθου από τους ζωγράφους της εποχής Μπαρόκ, και ιδιαίτερα την πρόσληψη της ελληνικής μυθολογίας από τον Φλαμανδό ζωγράφο Peter Paul Rubens και τον Γάλλο ομότεχνό του Nicolas Poussin, οι οποίοι συνιστούν τους σημαντικότερες εκπροσώπους της τέχνης Μπαρόκ με θεματική βάση τις μυθολογικές, ηρωικές και βουκολικές σκηνές.	el

dc.description.abstracttranslated	The Greek Myth is inextricably linked to Art, which is inspired by it, but also at the same time transmits it and recreates it in a constant game of changing motifs, forms and images from antiquity to the present day. It also occupies an important place in the thematic of Baroque art, which prevailed from the last decades of the 16th century throughout Europe. The present research analyzes the specificity of the ancient Greek myth and the influence that Greek mythology exerted on the visual arts from antiquity onwards, with a time horizon of the Baroque era. It focuses on the handling of mythological material and the respective variations of the myth by the painters of the Baroque era, and in particular the reception of Greek mythology by the Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens and his French contemporaneous Nicolas Poussin, who constitute the most important representatives of Baroque art based on mythological, heroic and bucolic scenes.	el
