The main purpose of this thesis is to investigate the relationship between World Health Organization (WHO) and Ethics. In particular, World Health Organization's correlation with matters involving Human Rights is under examination since, nowadays, Human Rights are thought to be globalized political value. Accordingly, Human Rights and health concepts are interrelated to each other affecting every aspect of modern life.
Moreover, issues in terms of Ethics and deontology that should govern various health related parameters are also investigated. Extended emphasis is given to World Health Organization’s contribution to improving human living conditions, the initiatives and practices that this Organization is developing for health promotion on personalized and public health. Finally, special mention is made to the impact of these actions to people’s development and prosperity.
