Abstract
This study focuses on the phenomenon of cyberbullying on social media, analyzing its prevalence, forms, impacts, and coping strategies. Through quantitative research involving 219 participants, it was revealed that 38% of users have experienced cyberbullying incidents, while 62% have witnessed such cases. The most common forms include aggressive name-calling, the spreading of false rumors, and sending offensive messages, with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok exhibiting the highest frequency of incidents. The impacts of cyberbullying are severe, including increased anxiety (72%), depression (45%), and social isolation (47%). The study suggests educational initiatives, collaboration with technology platforms, and strengthening legal protection as strategies to combat the phenomenon. Furthermore, recommendations for future research are discussed, including the analysis of long-term effects and comparisons across different age groups and cultural contexts. The findings enhance the understanding of cyberbullying and emphasize the need for a holistic approach to its mitigation.
