dc.description.abstractΗ παρούσα έρευνα εξετάζει ενδελεχώς τον αναρριχητικό τουρισμό στο Λεωνίδιο. Πρόκειται για μία μορφή εναλλακτικού τουρισμού που εξελίσσεται δυναμικά και αδιάκοπα. Δίνεται ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην έννοια της τοπικής ανάπτυξης αλλά και στη βιώσιμη διαχείριση του προορισμού με απώτερο σκοπό τη διάρκεια και τη μακροβιότητα. Μέσα από τη σύνθεση της βιβλιογραφίας, της εμπειρικής έρευνας και τον συνδυασμό ποσοτικής και ποιοτικής διερεύνησης, επιδιώκεται να αναλυθούν όλες οι τάσεις και οι πεποιθήσεις των επισκεπτών και να προταθεί ένα σχέδιο δράσης για τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη στο Λεωνίδιο. Το εν λόγω σχέδιο δράσης είναι ρεαλιστικό και ανταποκρίνεται άμεσα στη βιωσιμότητα και στις πραγματικές συνθήκες της τοπικής κοινωνίας.el
dc.description.abstracttranslatedThe present research provides a thorough examination of climbing tourism in Leonidio, a form of alternative tourism characterized by dynamic and continuous evolution. Particular emphasis is placed on the concept of local development and the sustainable management of the destination, with the ultimate objective of ensuring long-term viability and resilience. By synthesizing the existing literature with empirical data, and employing a mixed-methods approach—combining quantitative and qualitative analysis—this study seeks to analyze visitor trends and perceptions in order to propose a strategic action plan for sustainable development in Leonidio. The proposed action plan is characterized by its realism, responding directly to the requirements of sustainability and the authentic conditions of the local community.el
