Abstract
In this post-graduate research will be carried out on the issues of representation / legalization of citizen participation. European elections are seen as second-round elections. Against this background, there is no direct citizen involvement. Many reasons contribute to this result. The European elections held in Greece will be recorded in comparison to the national ones. Whether the European Parliament has a direct involvement under the law and imposes binding decisions by the founding European Treaties. The reasons why the result is different in each match and the concept of the second order of elections. Through the graphs, the result can be more clearly understood before and after the collapse of bipartism. Likewise, an important change was the change in MEPs' ranking with a cross instead of a list that had been in force since 1981, and what its expediency. Through all these issues will be presented the issues of representativeness that arise.
